Velvet Multiway Infinity Dress in Black

The order arrived quickly. However, I found the dress too big (I am a 14). The weight of the velvet and elastic not being overly tight made me feel I would be pulling the dress up at the waist. The colour is beautiful.

The dresses are absolutely gorgeous, the feel is lush and the colour is perfection! The whole experience made so much better by the exceptional customer service - the colour I wanted was on pre-order and I received a message to say that it was likely to be delayed by a month, but a lovely member of the team reached out to confirm my event date and was able to fulfill my order with warehouse stock! Absolutely amazing ♡

The velvet infinity dress is elegant & stylish. It's stunningly soft but not too heavy. My size 6 daughter fitted it beautifully as well as my my size 14 & 16 bridesmaids. The thigh slit sits quite high but can be altered very easily to suit each person's preferences. Overall I couldn't be happier.

The peacock Velvet Multiway Infinity dress is surprisingly light-wearing, breezy and drapes down in a very elegant way. I'm looking forward to rocking this on the red carpet.

This is a really tricky review to write, as I found the experience with Model Chic stressful. The colours of the dresses in my experience were not accurate in the 2 out of 3 that I ended up having to order to get the right colour to match my gown. Having to return two lots of dresses and receiving the third lot the week of my wedding was expensive and less than ideal. However, the company policy of not offering refunds meant that my money was tied up and with all of the other wedding expenses I found this really stressful. I feel it would be in the customer's best interests to include one image of each dress in natural light as it was really disappointing to receive dresses and have them look completely different in person. Yes, you can order fabric samples, but if you are under time pressure this is not always possible, especially when there is no express postage option when having them sent to you to speed up the process. I also feel not offering refunds is unfair given the major discrepancy in the marketing images to the dresses in real life. I realise this may not be a great business decision, but it is much more fair to customers who are placing their faith in the marketing images and ordering sight-unseen, online from interstate in most cases, making viewing instore an impossibility.

That being said, the customer service was prompt, despite feeling that I had to fight to receive the level of discount I originally purchased the dresses at, so that I wasn't out of pocket. When the third lot arrived, they were beautiful and the bridesmaids got a lot of compliments on their dresses. I especially liked that they were matching, but could be tied differently to suit each of their body shapes.

If you are considering ordering, I would strongly recommend ordering fabric samples first and just being aware that refunds are not offered. This will save you a lot of unnecessary stress. In the end, the quality was good and the dresses looked amazing.
